The professional stuff

I'm registered as an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with Dietitians Australia, and hold a Master of Dietetic Studies, Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition), and a Diploma of Languages (German) from the University of Queensland.

I've completed additional training in: cultural safety, mental health, dual diagnosis, substance use, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Neurodiversity-Affirming Dietetics, and weight-neutral care.

I use a social justice lens in my practise. This means I offer bulk-billing and sliding scale fees. My dietetic framework always considers the impact that (in)security, intersectional disadvantage and stigma have on people's food and eating experiences.

You can trust that I practice evidence-based nutrition therapy to meet the needs of each person who sees me. As a member of the registry of Australian Independent Dietitian-Nutritionists (AIDNs), I ensure I have not received money (including employment) or gifts from food, supplement, surgery, agricultural, or weight-loss industries.

The personal stuff

I know what it's like to struggle with eating when you feel like shit.

I am mad and neurodivergent. I'm proud to be open about this and to support and advocate for those in our community who are trying to navigating food, eating and body image issues when things are hard.

I want you to know that when you come to see me, I see you as a person who deserves to be heard and supported. I won't give you a cut-and-paste meal plan, or reduce you to the number on the scale.

I am here to hear you, to support you, and to advocate for you as best I can.

In my spare time, you can find me playing with my pet rats, or tattooing (yep, I'm a licenced tattoo artist)!
